James I passed a topless Act, under the provisions of which young women were not to be seen in public unless their breasts were exposed to the nipple. At the time this was taken as a symbol of their virginity.
Such exposure would not be a problem in Whitehaven, Cumbria, where women are permitted to walk around with their breasts bared. A seaside resort, it attracts its share of topless sunbathers, so the local constabulary looked into the matter and found nothing in law that compelled women to cover their breasts. 'If they want to just walk down the street topless, that's their privilege,' said a spokesperson.
This was an extract of Nigel Cawthorne's book, "The Strange Laws of Old England".
James I made it that women could walk around topless but there is nothing stating that the law was abolished.
So why then is it alright for men to walk around topless without fear of being ridiculed or arrested but when a woman wants to do it, or even to breastfeed in public, something that women had been doing for generations in history, they are arrested or ordered to cover up?
When did human kind become so grossed out by feminine topless nudity? Many cultures around the world, especially the indigenous cultures, women and men walk around topless and no one bats an eyelid, but we do it, and we are labelled whores or sluts or whatever and are assaulted sexually or verbally by men.
Human decency has become obscured by the fact that MEN have the final say and that every generation, children are being brought up to think nudity is wrong but what everyone has forgotten is that breasts does not define a man or a woman as both genders can have breasts, but what does define man from woman is their genitalia. As long as that is covered up, why should it matter that man OR woman is topless.
I as a woman have become completely annoyed that women are looked down upon in society. Yes, women can work the same jobs as men but we are payed much less than men and it has been known that even women of different ethnic backgrounds are payed even less on rare occasions, but is still doesn't change the fact that women, despite winning the equal rights act, still isn't being treated as equally as we deserve to be treated.
We are ridiculed especially when rape is concerned. It is OUR fault if a woman is raped. Why? We can dress how ever we like just like a man can. We can wear skirts or dresses or blouses but we show just a little too much skin in the wrong area, men think they have the right to that body. IT DOES NOT! If men can walk around with hardly any clothes on like shorts and nothing more and not be ridiculed, then why can't a woman?

Back from a Long Hiatus
I haven't been on since 2018 due to a very bad case of art block. But now, I am back at full swing. I have lots of art to submit with a new copyright tag called BlindVision which is the name of my Fur Affinity account where I have been uploading to for the past couple of months or so.
32 tomorrow
I’ll be one year older tomorrow.
Had my birthday dinner today since my niece and nephew have school tomorrow.
Thai green curry with coconut rice. The best curry ever and Eton Mess for dessert. We joke around saying that I’m only special enough to have my favourite curry once a year XD
Guess what I am writing
Digimon Blight.
That's right. I am actually writing. It's still in the prologue and it is slow going but it is getting done.
I have plans for a Blight version of the official Digimon, Anubimon too which I am excited about too.
Two Digimon from Digimon Advent "might" make an appearance too, but not as you might know them 'shhh' XD
Happy holidays
Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas, a very happy Hanukkah and a very joyous kwanza.
